men are flesh articles in this paintings, and also in my paintings, they are like actors or furnitures. the only character that matters is the goddess who plays with them, just her, and nothing else. there is nothing else interesting around, just like a statues among teh crowd, just like a roman goddess in the middle of the town : only her and nothing else.
